Ending a call

Here are a few ways to end a call.
  1. I hate to take the last word and run, but I really do have to leave for an appointment now. So, we'll talk soon. Okay, bye now.
  2. I really wish I could talk longer, but I'm expecting a call in a few minutes, and I'd like to be ready for it as soon it comes in. So let's continue this later. I'll call you tomorrow or in a couple days, or you can call me. (Okay, that sounds good.) Great, then we'll talk soon.
  3. I'm sorry, but I have to cut this short because a call just came in that I have to take. Can we continue this tomorrow? Okay, then, call me tomorrow afternoon, or I'll call you.
  4. I hate to cut this conversation short, but I really do have to attend to a few things before my 1:00 lunch appointment. Can I call you back soon? What's a good time  for you?
  5. I hate to end this conversation so suddenly, but (other person) just showed me a note regarding something I have to deal with right away. Would it be possible to continue this call sometime tomorrow or another time this week?
